On the 2nd of May 2008, 15 Young Leaders and 15 Dreams and Teams SMK. Keningau club member working together run the event from registration, handling with the VIP guest till refreshment.
100 participants from SK. Pekan Keningau II giving their best commitment participated in this event.
The theme for this event was Earth Day Games. This theme had been selected as a respond towards nowadays issue around the world such as ‘Global Warming’.
There are 5 games prepared which to exposed and to give educational information on how to save our Earth such as recycle, planting trees and preservation of natures treasure.
In the same event, 10 participants had been appointed to receive prizes based on the quality shown by them in the games they played.
The 10 quality namely as best participant for cheerful, helpful, teamwork, enthusiastic, fair play, cooperative, discipline, effort, friendly and sportsmanship. On an early event, our local link school SMK. Membakut, had held their Mini Sports Festival on the 11th of April 2008. Two of our young leaders together with both of our link teachers had the opportunity to witness this event. The experience gain from the visit helps us to be more prepared for the upcoming Mini Sports Festival.
