28th of January 2008 is the start of the 3rd batch of SMK Keningau Young Leader candidates for the Training Week which was held in SMK Datuk Paduka Mat Salleh, Ranau.
It was held for 6 days which ended on the 2nd of February 2008 where the closing ceremony was officially launched by Deputy Director of Sabah Education Department, Yang Berbahagia Dr. Haji Muhiddin Bin Yassin.
40 participants which included 10 students from our school and 30 others respectively from Sabah College, SMK. Membakut and SMK. Datuk Paduka Mat Salleh.
Ms. Janet Ooi was there as a local tutor from British Council which was then help by Sabah College local tutor Mr. Gerard De Souza and Ms. Surilla Stimol.

Each School’s young leader candidates was also accompanied by two link teachers who are also in charge of helping the local tutors of guiding the young leaders to be.The course event for the training week were Mini Sport Festival, Culture Extravaganza and the Closing Ceremony of the Training Week.
